Exposition Personnelle et Installation In-situ

Project « Plastic Surgery » follows a residency of the artist Georges Rousse in the Chambery hospital in january 2017, in the Jacques Dorsetter building in which he created an in-situ work.

The exhibition is installed in the heart of the Chambery Hospital since September 2017 and proposes different approach of the space and abandonned architectures that forces us to lose our usual visual perceptions and open to a brand new vision of the world.

After the moving of the care units to the new building of the Chambery Hospital, the Jacques Dorsetter building has been left empty until its demolition, now ongoing. In january 2017, Georges Rousse has been invited to intervene as he wished in the abandonned site.
